We currently have 5 other units available. The upstairs of this building is The Poppy Suite (3BD/1BA). And half block away, there are 2 duplexes that are side-by-side. The green duplex has The Emerson Suite (top floor-3bd/1ba w/balcony) and The Charles Suite (first floor-2bd/1ba) and next door, the white duplex has The Harper Suite (top floor-3bd/1ba w/large balcony) and The Victoria Suite (first floor-3bd/2ba w/large porch). These two properties share a large professionally turfed backyard.
QUIET HOURS
Please note that this listing is situated on the first floor of a beautifully restored historic duplex. Although extensive renovations have been carried out, it is possible to hear occasional noise from the unit above. To ensure a peaceful and comfortable environment, sound machines have been thoughtfully provided in each bedroom. We kindly request that all guests show consideration towards one another by honoring our community's designated "quiet hours" between 10pm and 7am. By being mindful of noise levels during these times, we can maintain a harmonious atmosphere and ensure a restful stay for everyone.
EVENTS
Access to the property is restricted to only those individuals included in the reservation, unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed upon.
NON SMOKING
For the comfort and well-being of all guests, our property maintains a strict no-smoking policy. Smoking is prohibited on-site, and any violation of this policy will result in a charge of $250. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a smoke-free environment.
PRE-APPROVED DOGS WELCOME
We wholeheartedly embrace our furry friends! We gladly welcome pups to join you during your stay, with an additional fee of $80 per dog, and a maximum of two dogs per reservation. Because you will be staying in a recently renovated unit within a property that may have other guests, we kindly request that all dogs are well-behaved, trained, and considerate towards fellow humans. To maintain cleanliness and hygiene, we kindly ask that pets refrain from accessing the bed, uncovered furniture, and encourage the use of a crate when you are not present, if you believe it is necessary. By bringing your pet, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility and liability for their actions and any potential damages.
CAMERA SECURITY
To ensure the safety and security of our property, we have installed exterior cameras. We want to reassure our guests that the footage captured by Ring cameras is strictly confidential and does not violate their privacy expectations. It is important to note that tampering with or obstructing the cameras is strictly prohibited. Any guest found attempting to disable or obscure the cameras may face immediate eviction without a refund. Our intention is solely to maintain a secure environment for everyone's peace of mind.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
We have a strict cancellation policy in place. Refunds will only be issued if mandatory evacuations are ordered by The National Weather Service or local government authorities. Please keep in mind that refunds will not be provided if inclement weather in other states prevents guests from reaching Charleston. We highly recommend travelers to consider obtaining travel insurance, especially during months when weather conditions may impact their stay. Furthermore, in the unlikely event of power outages, internet disruptions, or any other situations beyond our control caused by local storms, we will make every effort to resolve the issues promptly. KITCHEN & LIVING AREA
The bright and airy kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances, utensils and cookware you need to feel at home. Although most of our guests take full advantage of the incredible culinary scene in Downtown Charleston, this kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking endeavors. This historic home does not have a true dining space, but there is plenty of room for a casual dining from the sofa with the coffee table or with seating for two at the sweet little vintage leaf table also located in the living room. Relax in the spacious living room on the sectional couch while watching your favorite streaming platform from the smart TV.
OUTDOOR SPACE

Accessed by its own entrance/exit, the carriage house is a standalone at the back of a larger main house property, accommodating both dining and lounge space, making it great for groups looking to spend time together or enjoy a meal. Fully stocked kitchen with basic cooking/kitchenware included. The carriage house is equipped with its own flat screen TV and queen sized bed. THE SPACE
Walk everywhere from this charming historic midtown home that is in Cannonborough, one of... downtown’s hottest neighborhoods. Restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios, shopping and 3 college campuses all within walking distance. And just a short drive to the pristine beaches of Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms!

This first-floor apartment is roughly 1400 square feet and is large enough for 4 people to easily enjoy but quite cozy if there’s only 2 of you!

The tree-lined street is quiet (which means you’ll have a great night’s sleep), but 4 blocks from King Street, where you’ll find the buzz of cafes, restaurants, galleries, shopping and vibrant night-life.

Unlike many downtown properties, this property comes with 2 off-street parking spaces. You’ll never have to stress about finding or paying for a place to park.

The kitchen is fully equipped for when your wallet needs a break from sampling all of Charleston’s world-class restaurants and bars. If you don’t want to brew up the Charleston roasted coffee that is provided for you, just meander across the street to 132 Spring Cafe (or other coffee shops) to enjoy local coffees and baked goods.

The large dining area is open to the living room and kitchen, perfect for family game nights or lingering after your home-cooked meals. We hope you enjoy the original artwork throughout the home, it is decorated with the owner's work and beautiful antique furnishings.

The two bedrooms are located towards the back for the unit with one king bed and one queen bed. The king room features an ensuite bathroom that also opens to the kitchen and also features a washer/dryer. There is also a full bath in the hall for the queen bedroom to use as well.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests will have exclusive access to the 1st floor of the building. Easily accessible and well lit for your safety.

You can pull 1-2 cars off the street and into a driveway, which makes packing and unpacking a breeze.

This 2-acre private membership club nestled in downtown Charleston is a modern oasis
offering resort-style amenities and a Bali-Tulum-inspired atmosphere unparalleled on the
peninsula. The property includes a swimming pool, onsite eateries for breakfast, lunch,
dinner, trendy cocktails, and of course poolside cabanas! It also includes an indoor gym and
fitness studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private
and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.

*Day Passes are for an extra cost. Pricing is created by the Wonderer, guest will receive a link after booking to see cost breakdown.

*Access to the Wonderer is Subject to change based on Seasonality, Weather factors, and are
first come, first serve, so please make sure to confirm operating hours for the dates of your stay. For visits between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly recommend booking in advance to ensure access. Groups of 8 or more guests are strongly encouraged to book a cabana in advance to ensure an ultimate, premium experience poolside

All guests must be at least 25 years or older to access the Club unless approved is given by The Wonderer management team.

*Please also note that the property manager is not the same company as The Wonderer and offers
this as an added perk. If access is not granted to the Wonderer during your stay due to
availability, no inconvenience credits will be awarded, and any issues related to your visit
at The Wonderer must be directed exclusively to The Wonderer staff. *

*Pet fee: Our home is pet friendly. We have a $200 per pet fee. We limit to 2 dogs in the home and we have a very strict no cat policy. Only dogs are allowed at the home. Please be sure to add the dog to your guest count when booking and reach out for permission to bring the second dog before booking. 

*We provide starting supply for coffee, toiletries, trash bags, tide pods, and dishwasher pods. There is a nearby convenience store if you need to pick up more during your stay.

*If the property includes a washer and dryer, we kindly ask that you use them to refresh your towels during your stay. While you don’t need to wash towels or linens at checkout, please note that we have a limited supply and may not be able to provide extras unless the home lacks a laundry room.

*Crib and high chair available through a third party as an optional add-on and must be ordered 48 hours in advance in order to guarantee it is in the home prior to guest arrival. Inquire for information to book with the third party*

This house consist of two suites. The downstairs suite has 2 bedrooms and one bath.... Including a remodeled kitchen. The bedrooms are set at either end of the apartment giving guest privacy for each other during their stay. The bathroom has just been fully renovated and features a tub with shower and tiled floors. The furnishings include a mix of antiques and modern furniture. Each room will have a 50-inch flat-screen Smart TV in it. There is a king-size bed in each bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked for those who choose to eat in.

The upstairs suite has the same lay out with 2 bedrooms and on bath. Including a remodeled kitchen. The bedrooms are set at either end of the apartment giving guest privacy for each other during their stay. The bathroom has just been fully renovated and features a tub with shower and tiled floors. The furnishings include a mix of antiques and modern furniture. There is a king size bed in each bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked for those who choose to eat in.

Each unit has a private porch and a door that locks to the street giving you added safety on the porch.

You'll find luxury linens on every one of the King beds along with one pull-out sofa. There are 4 king beds and 2 pull out couches. There is a dining table in both living rooms with seating for four people. Enjoy the abundance of natural light throughout the house and feel the breeze on the wonderful porches on both levels.

You will have access to the entire property. There is one owner closet located in the home.

No Smoking Allowed. Violators will be fined a minimum of $250 for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is ONLY permitted outside of the property, but please try to keep at least 10 feet from the doors to keep smoke from trailing inside.

Firearms are not allowed in any of our private residences. Any firearms left behind at a property will be turned over to local police without notice to guest.

This is a licensed and legal Short Term Rental. Neighborhood quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. If violated the city will issue a $1047 fine. Guests are also responsible for following the City of Charleston's Ordinance rules under Section 54-227.

Our city is growing quickly. With that growth comes construction. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about the resulting noise or the current, cosmetic state of some neighboring buildings. During your stay, this shouldn’t be too bothersome, since the city’s noise ordinance dictates quiet hours between 10pm - 8am.

Please use painters tape if you plan on using tape to decorate for an event. If the wall is damaged due to tape removal or decorations, you will have to pay $500 for repainting.
